 All our family simply adore Halloween.
Why? There are so many reasons – and as a photographer, I really appreciate the creativity that comes with this time of year; the chance to dress up, the cute decorations, the colorful pumpkins and the fake spider’s webs…. Halloween is huge fun, is great for kids as well as being a perfect opportunity to take photos, too!
Like me, my daughter Victoria loves this time of year. In the photograph she is wearing a gorgeous red dress for a cake smash. Victoria also enjoys the chance to put on her scariest make-up and hairstyle… ! It is a great time, ideal for spending time together.
Trick or treating is another Halloween custom that I love. Over the years, I have really enjoyed watching younger children knocking on doors locally, dressed in fabulous ghoulish outfits and hoping to strike lucky with rewards of candy and chocolate.
Food is of course very important to a great Halloween party… and cake an essential ingredient.
Victoria and I like baking cookies and cakes – and we also make sure that the kitchen larder is full of chocolate as well 😊.
